Being a mother is really not a joke. Having a pregnant belly that almost destroys your figure is not easy, and the pain they are experiencing while giving birth to you might be the most painful thing anyone can ever experience. What more if you're not just going to experience this once, but 18 times? Will you be able to endure all the pain and will you be able to raise all of those 18 children you have? Well, this super mom did!
She is Marites Canieso, also known as the "Super Nanay" of Malanday, Marikina Philippines. She was able to raise her 18 children. Marites Canieso was able to sustain the needs of her family with the money she earns from washing other people's clothes.
She was only 16 years old when she first got pregnant. According to her eldest child, Mylene she has a total of 17 siblings, but two of her siblings passed away because of measles and the other one passed away after being shot.
They need a total of four kilos of rice per day, that's why some of Marites' children are also helping her to earn money.
"Masipag po yung nanay ko eh, kaso po pagkatapos po sa trabaho niya, nagtatrabaho padin po dito." Mylene emotionally said.
Although they weren't able to go out to celebrate Mother's Day, they said that it's already enough for them that they are complete for the special day of their mother.
