Terrifying story of a baby born with two heads
Baby Born with Two Heads |
We've seen a lot of babies that were born with different deformities, but this one might be the most terrifying and maybe the most rare case. How could a child live a normal life if he was born with such difference?
According to sources, Manar Maged was an Egyptian girl who was born with her twin Islaam's head attached to her head. This condition was most likely known as the Craniopagus Parasiticus or the Parasitic Twin. Islaam, the twin of Manar Magad was nothing but a head and an upper torso, but she can smile and blink on her own.
Although Both of the twins are alive, the doctors stated that they should still be separated for Manar Maged to have a chance to live a normal life.
On February 2005, Manar Maged was 10 months old when she underwent an operation to remove the parasitic head of her twin. The operation was successful, and Manar Maged was said to be the first baby to survive the surgical removal of parasitic head. Unfortunately, Manar Maged only lived for an additional of 13 months and passed away before her second birthday.
Their condition was called Craniopagus Parasiticus which is extremely rare where in one of twins failed to develop parts of the body and unfortunately, the incomplete twin gets attached to the other twin.
This story had made lots of people cry when it made rounds online. Do you think that this is indeed a terrifying medical condition? Share us your thoughts!
