We've seen a lot of short films talking about families, but this short film might be the most tear-jerking and this will definitely touch your heart.

This is a viral Singapore short film which is about a father and his son who hasn't been talking for 20 years.

In this short film, a little boy grew up hating his father. His father wasn't there to spend time with him because of his job and whenever he's home he will only scold his son because of failing grades. The little boy was closest to his mother, he was very happy playing, cooking and eating together with his mom until his mom passed away.

He worked hard and grew up as a successful mom but then he refused to talk and eat together with his father. His father really felt sad with what's happening with them so one day he went to the community club where his son was helping to organize stuff.

He saw that people are learning to bake his son's favorite,  Tau Sar Piah. So he got interested and joined for him to learn how to cook his son's favorite food.

He was so excited to give it to his son because he was the one who made it, but his son doesn't seem to care. So he followed his son in the community club without him knowing it. He sat beside his son and handed him water. He offered the food he made but his son won't get it so he placed one piece on his son's hand and asked him to eat it.

The father thought that he was such a failure for thinking that his son grew up without a father beside him. Everything was difficult for the two of them. But in the end, his son forgives him and even told him that the food tastes good. And after that, they continued to be a family.
