Reasons why Using gadgets before sleeping kills you slowly!

Before technologies, life was so much simpler. People wake up, eat breakfast, clean the house, play outside with some friends, go for some walk to the park and at night, everyone will peacefully sleep. But today, the world suddenly turned upside down, we are all living in a modern world now. A world where you wake up because of the notification from your phone, you get to eat with a phone beside you and you'll be sleeping with your phone near you. But have you ever thought that maybe these gadgets don't really entertain you, thus takes control of your body? 

Some of us are even applying for loans just to have money for the latest gadgets, some also use their parents' credit cards for these things. But is it really worth it? Did you know that regular use of computers. Cellular phones and other gadgets before sleeping are slowly killing you? It's kind of creepy right? But we should all be aware with what these modern gadgets can bring to our bodies. 

Why are these gadgets killing you? The human body really takes time in adapting the changes that technologies had been brought to us. But because of these fast changes, our bodies are failing to adapt the changes. 

Ever since we had our on gadgets, we kept on changing night time into daytime and day time into night time. Which is all wrong. As much as our body needs sunlight, we also need darkness. Because our bodies only produce melatonin during the darkness. Melatonin controls our body's circadian rhythm which are capable of controlling our sleeping and waking cycles. 

You can't deny the fact that even when the lights are out at night, you still open your phone to check for updates. This is very wrong because whenever you're doing this, you are also exposing your brain to artificial lights which makes the melatonin production suppressed. 

Studies have already shown that people with low melatonin are more prone to cancer and other ailments because melatonin helps protect our cells from damage. 

Here are some ways for you to prevent melatonin suppression

Avoid using your gadgets before sleeping. As much as possible, try turning it off hours before you sleep. And also, never ever turn night times into day time again and vice versa. Make sure that your body still gets the sunlight that it needs every day.
