Filipinos are known for being helpful, they don't want to see their fellow countrymen suffering from poverty. But would you still help them if it was clear and obvious that they can't even help their selves?

This man just ruined the trust that people are giving the beggars. He tricked people and made them believe that he is an amputee just to gain more sympathy and to earn more money. 

Unfortunately for him, a concerned citizen noticed that he was just acting that he is an amputee. The man told him to stand up and show him where his other leg is. The beggar quickly stands up and it was revealed that he is not really disable, he is better than anyone else.

The netizens are now sharing their opinion about this video. Some are even questioning why he needed to act, while others are getting mad at the fact that he could work for himself without tricking other people.

The Filipino Shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra once again impressed the judges and everyone who was able to watch their heart melting and inspiring performance on the semi-finals of Asia's Got Talent.

The Filipino group's performance was mainly about world peace. Their performance showed how much sacrifice our soldiers are giving just to make sure of our safety. It also showed how people are sharing their love by the act of giving.

It was truly a heart melting performance. After their performance every member of the group was really emotional because of they didn't just perform to win, they perform to inspire.

Anggun, the judge who hit the Golden buzzer on El Gamma Penumbra's audition was really proud and she's also emotional after their performance.

"It was really emotional and you make me really proud. And I'm sure you made Filipinos proud. Thank you! That was Flawless!" Anggun told the group

"Anggun, you got it so right with the golden buzzer... I get to see something so moving and magical it's just so amazing." The Grammy award winning composer David Foster said

Their performance didn't just received a standing ovation from Van Ness Wu and Anggun but they were also able to inspire and touch the hearts of everyone with such heartfelt performance.

The Filipino Shadow Play Group is now moving to the Grand Finals of Asia's Got Talent after four of the judges chose El Gamma Penumbra as the Act that deserves the Golden Buzzer.

El Gamma Penumbra is now moving to the Grand Finals together with the 3 Filipino performers Gerphil Flores, Gwyneth Dorado and the other Golden Buzzer act, the Junior New System.

Do fishes with human teeth exist? If ever they do exist, would you eat a fish with human teeth for a meal? Well, here are two kinds of fishes that have teeth like humans.

First is the Pacu Fish, it is somehow related to the carnivorous fish called piranha, they are both from the subfamily Serrasalminae, but unlike piranha sharp pointy teeth, Pacu is omnivorous with much squarer and straighter teeth similar to humans.

Pacu Fish

Pacu is often found in rivers and streams in the Amazon and Orinoco River. It usually uses its square human-like teeth for crushing nuts, fruits and some vegetables. But Pacu fish sometimes eat other fishes and invertebrates.

Pacu fishes are also referred to as "Ball-cutter" because they sometimes cut the testicles of a male swimmer mistaking those for floating fruits and nuts from trees. 

Unlike Piranhas, Pacu fishes are not that aggressive, but anyone will be needing a surgery after being bitten by a Pacu.

Although it's legal to own a Pacu fish in the United States, most of them end up in lakes because it can grow up to 4 feet long and they won't fit their tanks anymore.

There were already reports that the Pacu fish already took two lives of fishermen because of blood loss after the Pacu fish bit off their testicles. 

The second is the Sheepshead fish, it also has a human-like teeth, but unlike the Pacu's teeth, Sheepshead has a little too many.

The Sheepshead have 3 rows of human-like teeth that gives them a wide range of omnivorous food. The Sheepshead has a strong and heavy grinder set in the rear jaw which are commonly used for crushing the shells of its prey.

VIRAL: President Aquino Broke the Protocol to Make Final Appeal for Mary Jane Veloso

Almost every Filipino cheered and felt glad when Mary Jane Veloso was spared from execution by the Indonesian Government. What we don't is when President Benigno Aquino III made his last-minute appeal to Indonesian President Joko Widodo is he broke the protocol. 

According to the Cabinet Secretary Rene Almendras President Aquino approached the  Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi personally after a BIMP-EAGA meeting in Langkawi, Indonesia on Tuesday to talk about the act of surrendering of Veloso's recruiter, Maria Kristina P. Sergio, earlier that day.

Cabinet Secretary Rene Almendras said that President Aquino broke the protocol when he talked to Marsudi. 

"The normal protocol to set up a conversation between two presidents is the minister of foreign affairs, talks to the other minister of foreign affairs. They discuss, they agree and then the call between the two presidents is arranged," he said. 

The cabinet secretary also said that the Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario was about to call Marsudi when President Aquino insisted on talking to the foreign minister.

"The President sort of breaking protocol and said: 'No, I will talk to her.' It was the President himself who talked to the Indonesian foreign minister. The Indonesian foreign minister was quite surprised because normally, that is not done. When the President did that, she promised: 'Yes, Mr. President. I will immediately relay your message to both the president and to whoever else needs to know in Jakarta,'" Almendras said. 

But the good thing with what President Aquino did is that his last-minute appeal worked. It saved the mother of two from being executed by the Indonesian firing squad. 

"The key there was how do we convince the Indonesians that we had enough of a resource or a situation with the recruiter here in the Philippines to merit the stay that was being asked," Almendras said.

Still, everyone is thanking the Indonesian Government for sparing Mary Jane Veloso from execution.

VIRAL: A 'Mermaid' was said to be spotted at London beach in Gensan

In the city of General Santos, Philippines, there have been speculations that there is a mermaid that was seen in one of the resorts in Gensan.

The video was uploaded by Jovelin Balinas and it is now making rounds on the internet. The video was uploaded on April 28 and it already garnered more than half a million views. 

You can see in the video a big tail of fish and a huge body. Although some netizens already said that it might only be a big fish or "dugong", Jovelyn Balinas still insisted that it was really a mermaid.

According to the internet, mermaids are legendary aquatic creatures with the upper body of a female human and a tail of a fish. Mostly, mermaids only exist in fairy tales and fictional stories.

Eight drug trafficking convicts from several countries were executed by the Indonesian firing squad on Wednesday, but the Filipino who was on death row was miraculously spared from execution at the last minute.

Mary Jane Veloso has been spared from execution by the Indonesian Government.

The Filipinos who were holding a vigil outside the Indonesian Embassy in Manila cheered and clapped upon hearing the good news!

"We are relieved that the execution of Mary Jane Veloso was not carried out tonight," said the Department of Foreign Affairs spokesman Charles Jose early Wednesday in a briefing.

However, VP Binay said that Mary Jane Veloso was spared because of the prayers given by the Filipino people and the work done by the Philippine Government.

A spokesman for Indonesia's Attorney General's Office said that the execution of Mary Jane Veloso was postponed after the recruiter who tricked her to bring the suitcase with 2.6 kilograms of heroin to Indonesia, Maria Kristina Sergio  turned herself in to authorities on Tuesday.

Because of this, Pres. Widodo had called for an emergency meeting with his officials on Tuesday afternoon to discuss Veloso's case. Before this meeting, Pres. Benigno Aquino III proposed to the Indonesian Government to turn Mary Jane Veloso into a witness for them to easily solve the case and for the easy identification of the suspects.

“We presented [to Indonesia] that it seems to serve both of our interests to keep her [Veloso] alive to be able to testify and serve the ends of justice for both our concerns,” Aquino told reporters in Malaysia.

Because of this, Mary Jane Veloso was spared from execution and will be a witness in return.

A lot of lives of our policemen were taken away in the battle because of their responsibility to save their countrymen and to fight to keep our country free from bad guys. We even call them our heroes because they were the ones who fight for our safety, but how would they be called a hero today if they don't even have the proper training and the proper guns? 

This video of a policeman went viral online after it was uploaded on YouTube. It can clearly be seen in the video that the policeman was exchanging bullets against criminals.

Luckily, the policeman survived the encounter but can clearly be seen in the video that the gun he's using jammed countless times in the middle of his encounter with the criminals.

Netizens are now questioning about who to blame with this incident? Should they blame the police for not handling the gun properly or should they blame the government for supplying low class firearms for our policemen? 

It was also obvious in the video that the gun of the policeman was too old that caused it to jam for countless times. What saddened the netizens more is the fact that the terrorists somehow have more firearms than the policemen.

At the age of 18, Katie underwent gender reassignment surgery to fulfill the body that she wanted, while Arin at the age of seventeen had decided to have both breasts removed to give him the masculine body that his craving for.

Katie as a girlfriend of Arin, she supports all his decisions. She admitted that she's worried with Arin's surgery, but she knows that he'll be okay. 

After the surgery, although Arin still got the scars from the surgery he's still happy because he feels more comfortable now. 

"When you're transgender you learn that your outside doesn't matter, it's what's on the inside." Arin said. 

After both of their surgeries, Arin can go topless and Katie can wear bikini now without anyone ever guessing about their past. 

Although they are both Transgenders, they confessed that they still have some features from their past genders. However, after having both breasts removed, Arin now wanted to gain more weight, he wanted to have bigger muscles for him to look a lot more masculine.

"Being a transgender myself, me, I understand Arin probably feels better than anybody else and how good he feels. I think that bond that we have is unbreakable." Katie said.

The most important thing in their relationship is the part where both of them understands each other.

But instead of thanking him, they even cursed at him and even told him that they can even buy him.

But then there's this woman who was touched by what he did. The woman didn't accept the 10 bucks and gave him more money instead.

"I have a few more dollars, why don't you take more and make me feel rich for the day. Thank you! Have a good day!" The woman told him.

He quickly followed her and told her that it was a social experiment. He asked more people to accept money from him, but they don't seem to care. Others even thought that he was just kidding because he only have 10 bucks and what he wanted to do is to give it away.

There's another man who was touched by his act and gave him what he have in his pocket.

"You know what? I have all that I need too." And after saying that he put out money from his pocket and gave it to the homeless.

But someone tested the his patience. The homeless tried to offer to pay his but the man insulted him instead and even boasted that he has a Benz.

She also became a flight attendant in a known airline in Middle East and that's where she met her rich suitor who happened to be the brother of the king of Dubai. The suitor gives her a monthly allowance of one million.

Until one day, she met this simple Chinese man who is now her husband. They got married in Singapore. Her mother-in-law even told her that she deserves to have everything that she have right now. Her husband, Alex gave her everything. Love, care and all their needs.

Antoniette and her family is now living in Sydney, Australia and aside from being a mother, she is also taking care of her business.

A few days ahead the Pacman-Mayweather fight, Congressman and boxer Manny Pacquiao created a televised pledge to Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Monday, April 27, 2015, to withdraw the execution of Mary Jane Veloso, a Filipina who is accused of drug trafficking and on the death row.

In a live interview in GMA News TV's Balitanghali, Pacquiao said that he was speaking on behalf of the Filipinos.

"I am begging and knocking on your heart that your excellency will grant executive clemency to her by sparing her life and saving her from execution," Pacquiao said.

Veloso's execution is scheduled on Tuesday, after being found of heroin with 2.6 kilograms on her luggage in 2010 when she was in Yogyakarta Airport. She proclaimed that she had not known that the drugs were I'm her suitcase.

The rescuers and the residents began the desperate search for survivors in Nepal on Sunday after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit the capital of Kathmandu a day earlier which flattened homes, buildings and even ruined temples that cause widespread damage across the region and had taken away more than 1800 lives.

Rescuers are digging through the rubble of collapsed buildings in the capital trying to reach survivors.

The government had already declared a state of emergency in the affected areas of Nepal, while the continuous ripple of aftershock scares the residents of Nepal. 

Injured people had been continuously given first aid outside the hospitals. Dozens of bodies were pulled from the historic Dharahara tower that was also crushed by the quake. The earthquake also caused several avalanches which took away more than 17 lives. 

The government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas of Nepal.

A number of historic buildings have been destroyed.

"But if you look at the spread of the earthquake a lot of the rural areas have been hit as well. The information we received from the field is that 80% of the houses in these rural areas have been destroyed." Lex Kassenberg, Nepal country director for CARE International said. 

This earthquake is now considered as the strongest in the region in more than 80 years. The reports of devastation are still coming in and the numbers of injured people and the lives taken away continues to rise. 

Areas near Nepal are also affected by the earthquakes. There had also been reports of loss lives in India, Bangladesh, Tibet and on Mount Everest.

Number of dead and injured people are rising. 

The US Government is now sending a disaster response team to help Nepal and had already released $1Million to address immediate needs. 

Rescuers are desperately digging through the collapsed buildings in the capital trying to reach for survivors.

A lot of historic monuments in Nepal had been destroyed by the powerful earthquake. The Officials also said that some temples and world heritage sites near Kathmandu were also damaged.

"Kailangan ko siyang magawa, at kailangan ko siyang i-perform dito sa Your Face Sounds Familiar. Feeling ko hindi magiging complete 'yung show ko kung hindi ko siya i-impersonate," Maxene said 

The younger Magalona performed her father's hit song "Mga Kababayan Ko" earning a standing ovation from the judges who were all emotional as soon as she came out on stage. 

Maxene finished her performance successfully with the help of the people who used to work with her father, including DJ Kimosave.

"I just want to say that your dad is one of the most iconic Filipino performers ever. He will live on not just because through memory but because of you. " Jed Madela told Maxene

Gary Valenciano, who has previously worked with the late OPM icon Francis Magalona, also admired Maxene's heartfelt performance and he also said that her performance reminded him so much of Francis M. 

Although Sharon Cuneta is still in tears, she still managed to speak and praise Maxene's performance. 

Upon watching Maxene's performance, they didn't just see the face of the late icon, Francis Magalona but they also felt the heart. The OPM icon passed away in 2009 because of leukemia.

The prenup video of the couple featured four weathers, spring, summer, autumn and winter. The prenup video was shot at the Nayomi Sanctuary Resort and Big Bear California.

The video showed how comfortable they are in each other's company. Their prenuptial video didn't just show people their lovely moments with each other, but also the fun moments. This video also showed the fun side of both personalities. 

The video ended with the two of them smiling back at each other while sitting in front of a log cabin with a hot drink in their hands. 

The lovely couple is scheduled to get married in May at a farm owned by John Prats' family in Batangas. Meanwhile, the model-actress Isabel Oli will be wearing a Vera Wang gown that was given to her as an advanced wedding gift during their recent vacation in Los Angeles, California.

We've watched a lot of surprise proposals on the internet, but this guy might be the youngest to propose for the love of his life.

According to the description of the video, the guy's name is John Angelo Calautit. A Filipino high school boy who proposed to his schoolmate named Xyza.

Just like any other surprises, this proposal started with a blindfold. They blindfolded Xyza and guided her to reach the exact spot for the proposal. When they reach the spot, there was a group of students who were holding balloons of different colors behind her, when they removed her blindfold she was already crying because of so much happiness.

This proposal already formed a crowd of students who are eager to know what exactly is happening. Everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs when the lover boy came with flowers and gifts in his hands.

Although Xyza was crying, John Angelo still handed the flowers and the gift to her. But what surprised them more is when John Angelo suddenly knelt down and opened a cute little box, revealing an infinity ring and a necklace.

After putting the ring and necklace to the girl of his dreams, he then wiped away the tears of Xyza.

Gwyneth Dorado makes it to the Asia's Got Talent Finals

The 10 year old Filipino female rocker, Gwyneth Dorado is heading straight to the grand finals of Asia's Got Talent after getting the most number of public votes among the competitors of the first batch's semi-finalists. The good news was announced on the live episode of Asia's Got Talent on Thursday.

"To all those who have tirelessly supported me, especially those who have voted me, thank you so much for believing in my talent. I am very grateful for your help!" wrote Dorado on Facebook shortly after the announcement.

Gwyneth's rendition of Jessie J's 'Nobody's Perfect' impressed the judges Van Ness Wu, and the Indonesian rock icon Anggun.

However, the Grammy Award-winning composer David Foster didn't agree with Van Ness, because he thought that Gwyneth might be nervous, that's why her pitch is not as he expected.

But still, Gwyneth is thankful that she was able to give her best on her performance!

Gwyneth Dorado together with Triqstar from Japan will move to the Grand Finals along with the acrobatic duo Gao Lin and Liu Xin who were the judges' golden buzzer for that night.
